GIRL POWER.
The "Girl's Voices" program is an educational, networking and fun group for GIRLS that is facilitated by Computers 4 Us. A division of the program is geared toward 7-13 year olds.
The 7-13 year old group have given themselves the name, "Independent Girlz". During school session, this group meets every Monday and Wednesday, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
The goals of the program are to enhance, enrich and empower the girl's to better understand their community, their environment and their strengths. Just some of the programs the student's will be addressing are:
* The girls identify challenges in their communities and design and
implement creative solutions to address them as a team.
* Network with girl’s in other cultures and countries
* Produce a production on their experience in the program
* Learn computer graphics, basic word processing and business skills
